Steam sterilization chemical indicator tape consists of special heat-sensitive chemical dye, color reagent, and accessories made of ink. It is printed on special tape with oblique stripes. Under specific temperature and pressure of saturated steam during a sterilization cycle, the indicator turns dark gray or black. The color after sterilization is permanent and will not fade.
Adapted to various models of steam sterilizers, used for fixed item packages or labeling goods packages (or containers) that have undergone the sterilization process.
Place the tape in standard chemical indicator test kits or at the most difficult locations for steam to reach. When placed with packages like gauze or brown paper, ensure protection to prevent dampness which could affect accuracy.
