Product Background

The Bowie Dick is a mandatory test for steam sterilizers. This functionality test for steam sterilizers needs to be done at the beginning of the working day. After a successful pass of the Bowie Dick the steam sterilizer can be released for use. The Bowie Dick is dedicated for porous loads in a pre-vacuum hospital steam sterilizers. It complies with EN ISO 11140-1 (Class 2) as well as EN-ISO 11140-4.

Product Usage Method

When in use, the test package can be directly placed at the exhaust port of the sterilizer room and the cabinet door is closed, and the sterilization test process is carried out at 134 ºC for 3.5 minutes. After completion, open the cabinet door, open the test package, and take out the test diagram. If the yellow color changes to black, the sterilization has been completed.
