The biological culture indicator is a biological testing tool used to detect microbial contamination and is widely applied in the monitoring of microbial conditions in medical equipment, pharmaceutical factories, water treatment systems and other places. It consists of a culture medium and microbial indicators. The culture medium provides nutrients and a growth environment, while the microbial indicators are specially cultivated and purified microbial cells that can produce specific microbial reactions to detect whether the corresponding microorganisms are present in the sample.
Purpose: For biological monitoring of ethylene oxide sterilizers.
Mechanism: The spores are those of Bacillus subtilis var. niger. Tested with a standard resistance meter: the survival time is 15 minutes or more, and the killing time is 60 minutes or less.
1. After culture, if the sterilization tube does not change color (turns green), it indicates that the sterilization has been passed.
2. After cultivation, if the sterilization tube changes color (turns yellow), it indicates that the sterilization was not passed.
3. The control tubes being cultured simultaneously should be positive (yellow). If negative, identify the cause (culture conditions or indicator issues).
We are a modern company specializing in the design, R&D, manufacture and disinfection and sterilization equipment. Since 1986, when our R&D and manufacture of the first set of ethylene oxide sterilizer began, we have accumulated more than 40 years of history in the medical equipment industrial park.
