Steam Sterilization Chemical Indicator Card, also known as Pressure Steam Sterilization Disinfection Indicator Card, is a Level 4 medical-grade monitoring tool designed to ensure the efficacy of sterilization processes.
1. Place the steam sterilization indicator card in the center of the standard test package or item. The card should be positioned in the middle of the package, ideally at the intersection of diagonals or in areas most difficult for steam to penetrate. Wrap with gauze or kraft paper to prevent moisture affecting the judgment.
2. Following routine sterilization operation, when exposed to saturated steam at 121°C (+-2°C) for 15 minutes or 132°C for 3.5 minutes, the indicator color block changes from yellow to black. If the color change is uneven or absent, the package is not sterilized.

This product uses high-quality paper as the substrate, printed with specialized chemical indicator ink. The color block changes rapidly and intuitively under specific temperature, humidity, and pressure conditions. The post-sterilization color is stable and resistant to fading.
Our manufacturing facility spans 100,000 square meters, making us one of the most professional disposable dental product suppliers. Our range includes sterilization pouches, dental bibs, saliva ejectors, mixing tips, surgical gowns, and more.
A: A Class 4 indicator is a multi-variable indicator designed to react to two or more of the critical parameters of the steam sterilization process (temperature, time, and steam penetration).
A: The indicator block should change from its original yellow or beige color to a uniform black. Any other color suggests the sterilization process was incomplete.
A: While primarily designed for steam, specific versions of our cards are compatible with both EO (Ethylene Oxide) and Steam sterilization processes as indicated on the product packaging.
A: Metal and glass surfaces are prone to condensation. If the card becomes soaked by condensation water, the thermal-sensitive material may lose accuracy and provide a false reading.
A: The product is valid for 18 months from the date of production. It must be stored in a cool (15-30°C), dry place away from direct light and corrosive chemicals.
A: Yes, the indicators use medical-grade cardboard and water-based, non-toxic, lead-free inks that are environmentally friendly and safe for hospital use.
